The son of Dale Earnhardt Jr. made his move to the big time in 2000 during his first full professional season. He finished 2nd in the rookie of the year standings. In 2001 at the Daytona 500, he had finished 2nd only to learn that the accident his father had been involved with in the final lap was fatal.
Over his career he has 17 wins and has racked up more than $40 million in prize money.
Off the track he has appeared in several commercials, music videos, and Talladega Nights and was one of the voices in the Disney/Pixar movie Cars.
